There is still no decision(at least I don't know and manual description is the same all time) if away team will get fanshop sells. It's only 7 days to start of this most important competitions and I think it should be decided as soon as possible.

I think he means that inside Stadium in the manual it says x/O for Champ of Champs playoffs and final, O being "no decision made yet".

I voted for some fanshop for the away team. It makes sense that fans will be excited and buy jerseys on-line, or from licensed store vendors.
I do think away team fanshop revenue would be less than for a home team, as fans would have to buy on-line or from licensed local dealers. So 30%, 33% , 40% or 50% all seem reasonable compared to 100% for home team. Fan would want stuff like jerseys and t-shirts to wear to work and maybe calendars. Don't think foam fingers would be selling for example, as that seems like a home game item to me. btw- I'm a home team in Rd 1, and expect to lose to the Killer Bees, so away team income won't affect me. I like the idea of a limited amount of selling. Somewhere between 20% and 33% seems good to me so the home team gets more as expected but the away team sells some due to the importance of the game.
It'd also be nice to get some money from my game since my opponent doesn't want to move it away from his 5100 venue...  |
