I was one of the teams here from the start and I didn't make it into the playoffs for the cup last season. It's a bit of pot luck depending on what division you're in because 1 loss and it's hard to make it through. Not sure what the best option is, to keep going like this or have a straight knockout. If it's changed then problems still exist where some teams will only get 1 or 2 matches and the biggest teams will make it through to the later rounds This is not an option, I need the money from those 15 games for a stable economy. |

its a little luck of the draw and teams will even out on that luck over the seasons. it will get harder with more players in game but more fun and worthwhile, thats all i want from the game winning is a bonus.

By all means keep the cup the way it is now then. I was just trying to point out that even changing it to a knockout competition would still leave the bigger teams in the final rounds so it wouldn't really solve anything |

last season I felt hosed because I had one loss and missed out. This season I was luckier. In the long term it is fine. It just stings when you aren't so lucky. I had 2 teams go bot in mine. You can't predict who will go bot in 1 month....

Would it be possible to seed an equal number of human teams in each division? Or is this only possible by doing it manually? I don't know much about programming.
Of course this solves only part of the problems as we can not control who quits playing and where newcomers get placed. Nor does it prevent the possibility of having 5-6 favorites in one division and having 7 newbies in one, but it's a start. |

50th place 13 points away from the playoffs! at least im not the hrowakas braves who miss out with the same PD as 48th but scored fewer points
edit: and i even managed to beat a very very strong griff in gras team 30-3 today without any reward Last edited on 2012-01-23 22:07:11 by Monkey |

We distribute all humans across the divisions, and fill them up with bots. The differences come from going bot teams during the season, and game entering newbees |

Getting a first round bye isn't necessarily a good thing, that is a lost opportunity for income. Better than not making the playoffs though.
