I don't think you are making your position any stronger by seemingly refusing to accept you have make a major management mistake. Surely it would be easier to sell enough players to cancel the debt and reduce your wage bill (one of the highest in the game!), and bite the bullet and invest in the stadium?

In my opinion, this whole argument is childish and unnecessary. The mechanism exists in the game already to clear the debt - SELL PLAYERS!

I totally agree with you Johnny.

I looked into the team history and I saw in the youth two RB and one CB 20 yo old. He can switch these into the senior team and is able to sell the best of these positions. And I saw 3 Kicker and 2 Punters in the senior team. Only one K and P is able to play. Why should he have 3 Kickers and 2 Punters?

My opinion is: first sell expensive players inside the team, means do what he can. Then please beg the whole community, please help me.

If he is doing the very best to get out of the debt, then there is a change that others should help him.

If not, then go bankrupty and start with a new team the game again.

What is the big problem? It is only a game. If you are playing a game and going dead, then push the start button and play again from the very beginning.

That are my thoughts

Thank You
Kottan

As far as I understood LLPadre's PM and forum messages he would like to raise the amount of income by selling TV rights and such stuff.

To all: I don't think we need further income at this stage of the game. But I stand corrected, if there are opposite opnions. Make a suggestion, and let's see if we need to change things. We don't have to, based on my calculations....

But he only wants TV rights to be an option for people with small stadia ?????? The same for his 'top coaches/youth' idea... I can't help but feel he is simply refusing to develop his stadium due to sheer bloody-mindedness!

'I'm in financial trouble, there is a way out, but I won't do it because I don't agree with it!'

And Peter, you are right. We don't need any more income sources at present, in my opinion, there is already too much money in the game

That's not completely true... He doesn't want more income for all... He wants that a guy not growing his stadium earns another substitute income (in this case TV rights)...

I just cannot understand why he has such negative view on expanding the stadium...

The community made a decision: we will stick with the current way, there won't be a loan option available in this game

If there are any additional ideas, please use the Suggestions Board.

first LL's posts should be in a seperate topic, this one was about a player in trouble and the right or wrong of helping them, then placing a buffer for other managers who fall in to the same trap.

I am by no means a sportsim/ manager vet unlike a lot of the guys on here. but i do apply common sense, which seems to be an issue for some players to learn.

reading the manual/FAQ or forums doesnt apply because they know better and dont need to read or receive help.

building your stadium to become financially stable, which isnt your only option but more your long term goal. this is a fact for top teams bigger stadium > bigger crowds > more sponsors = more revenue.

too many want instant success and this was really apparent in -TOG-with disasterous failing to a team in the end.
I was lucky enough to be on the test bed and have enough knowledge to avoid things, but i still read all just incase something new dropped in.

this game doesnt need anymore financial boosting as it easy enough to make money, again once your team is financially stable, which takes time too build up. no magic wand waving here.

I am still of the opinion that knight or not they should have know better or read a little more closely. that said something should be placed to stop us losing anyone uneccessarily.

A loan with very severe penalties would be good, maybe the loss of draft pick but also Youth players for the duration of the loan, this way the team can pick itself up financially without selling a main player and hinder their team but lose the chance to progress as fast. more a tread water option for being short sighted.

That's the perfect example of PRIVILEGED ARROGANCY whom take as granted their leadership as AWARD of BE PART OF THE TRIBE and pretend to IMPOSE TO INFERIORS their POWER.

I will say that I had wondered last year how he could have a competitive team AND spend on the TM but have no stadium to speak of. Reckless spending has consequences.

I don't understand what the problem is in the short term if he is willing to sell a few of his players. Sure it can start at 16k max, but look at loosers player that started out that low and sold for 16million.

Why are you yelling? You made the choice to not build the stadium. Did you understand the possible consequences of not building that stadium?
