With short review, how the playoffs are played and what managers without playoffs can do in this time.

So I am expected to be "the mother of all teams", once more

I expect this not, but I'm worry about to lose many teams during the offseason, because they are bored.

So, are we supposed to discuss possible improvements/changes?

Such as shortening the time between the end of one season and the start of the next? Maybe it is possible to cut out at least one RZA week by scheduling the Bowl game (the League Bowl game) on the same day as the Relegation games. And then the Champ of Champs game on the day currently scheduled for that league bowl game.

This would allow the season rollover to happen one RZA week earlier.
I know it is too late to make changes for this season, but maybe next season this could be done?

Or maybe I overlooked or misunderstood something in the scheduling and this is not possible or desirable.

This contradicts the idea of the Offseason Camp. We had that feature, and I disabled it before we went public with this game.

Peter,

Last offseason it was easier to plan for as the costs weren't so high. I, myself will be fine this offseason as I will have at least one playoff game and one sc game (after the SC today I will put my final construction order through to max my stadium! :thumb.

However, for those who jumped at the coaches and didn't make the playoffs they will be in some trouble. Next season at this time I would just say tough, deal with it you knew it was coming and didn't plan.

This season is a little different as coaches were added later in the season (slightly past the halfway mark I think) and come with a hefty cost. I don't know if anyone really knew how high that cost was before coaches were officially on the market.

Perhaps for THIS offseason only, a friendly could be at a factor of 1 instead of .5. Again for this offseason only until the playoffs are over. For those who get further into the playoffs they will still make more than just the friendlies at that factor. Just throwing it out there.

Yep, we have to track if it goes that worse or not. Based on some calculations every manager should be fine, as long as the forecast is showing a green, and the fanshop is open.

However, if we see teams going to the minus, I will come back to that idea.

My forecast for this season is show red!!!

The point is what could help some managers and please do not call it autopilot again!

Addition to show how balance is, to show how much the sum of all spendings a team has until end of season.

I know its only simple mathematics, but this could help some to see:

Wow i have only 5 Million cash, but i need 6 Million to pay all thing - so maybe i do not buy another player or fire/hire new coach.

Remember, the forecast does not show friendlies and playoffs. Keep that in mind.

For example mine shows I will be a negative 7 million after this offseason. I have one home playoff game and one sc game at least. In addition I have maxed my stadium (construction finishes Friday) and that level of ticket income isn't calculated yet. I should earn at least 12 million from the 2 minimum games I get. The forecast is a nice tool to show what it looks like if you earn the minimum possible and all other variables remain the same. The only issue I have with the forecast tool is that it freaks people out who may be new here. It is a VERY rough estimate. Take it with a grain of salt. I use the forecast more as a way to gauge the next season's outlook.

Maybe a extra-section within the forecast would help? Like a postseason-buffer: "If you neither reach the playoffs in the league nor in the supercup, you'll need XXXXX $ to pay your players, coaches and stadium in the offseason."

Kind of an "maximum offseason financial risk warner"?

Not a bad idea!
