if people are too short sighted to cover their finances then tough.

1.stay off the TM
2. should have bought cheaper coaches or none at all.

the chart is a good marker.

I managed to make sure im safe and manage my team, again too many teams want to see their name in flashing lights and dont care how they get there.

do we really need to hold their hand and say its alright after they spit their dummy out. take your team to the financial redline and dice with collapse either way bloody manage the team not hope for a bailout.

Of course it´s not the problem of the community to solve the problems of managers which aren´t blessed with a 144300 seat stadium until the coaches appered in the game during a running Season where everybody was duscussing the importans of immediately signing coaches.
And sure why don´t they all read i dont know 30 or 40 pages of discussion, they should have known better.
Sure it´s their fault if they started during the season and don´t get in the playoffs that they won´t earn bigmoney for a month.
And sure if you play a Footballmanagergame it is absolutley normal not to have coaches, cause a footballteam never has them, cause you will getin finacal problems if you sign them.
And sure it helps if you notice your fault, that you get penalizied 5 salarys if you want to correct your fault.
And of course it´s their problem that they aren´t knights of rza and could test the finacall aspects of coaches in the testingarea.

To be sure....

And no i am not in finacal troubles

well unfortunately thats the issue with the community and this game moving too fast.

The community wants things implimented and suggests it so the game feels more realistic, but the side product of that being some managers cant keep up or dont log on frequently enough or have the time to take it all in.

The game needs to level off for a period otherwise managers are going to be disappearing though lack of judgement and knowledge because the game keeps changing and it becomes to indepth to understand.

i guess so,

yes it might be unfair to managers who cant support their team in the offseason but its also unfair to the managers who have balanced their books if the helping hand is given.

yeah I never really thought about the offseason lack of income either until i ran across this thread. I have no idea what my team schedule looks like after Saturday but I think i'll be ok either way.

I'll be honest though.. when it comes to economic decisions I'm a pretty conservative guy in this game but I still would like for the game to kinda walk-me by-the-hand so to speak. For instance a couple of weeks ago I had to fire 3 coaches so i could hire the right CPs to use all 550. I have absolutely no idea what type of financial hit I took or am taking from that. I mean I guess I could shift through my economy tab and figure it out or dig deeper into the manual and do the numbers myself but it would be nice if before I decided upon a heavy financial decision something popped up (maybe have a general manager's message) stating how this would effect my financial forecast in the present tense.

I know this takes out a lot of the leg work that others pride themselves in but if this is done correctly a manager wouldnt NEED to constantly check the message boards and there'd be absolutely no excuse for going RED. Unless you just love to gamble like that..

I would agree with you every season but this one. Changes were made halfway in the season that severely affected the economy.

this season i agree with your point and maybe a friendly with a higher rate of income allowed but i dont agree with the hold a managers hand for the future.

Even if you're team goes underwater in the off-season, I think we'll get back in the black at the start of next season when they start the new schedule. And I don't think teams get removed because of financial hardship, right?
