but the one thing I just can NOT get my head around is the transfer market, the prices seem to be just out of this world. I thought some transfer fees in -TOG-were sky high, but in RZA they're just ...... words fail me.
I think I'm just gonna keep well out of the transfer market for a few months (or more !), the transfer market just scares the sh*t out of me and that's the truth

It is very easy: as long as there are people willing to pay such amounts, the transfer market is healthy, somehow. The market determines the prices...This is why I am with Turtle on this one...

Supply and demand set the prize for everything. We have a low supply of good player, but a high demand for them. The result are high prizes.

But don't worry. You can get good players for less money.

Dang, I was hoping to get him for around 100,000.

But, of course, he is worth 40 million if someone is willing to pay the price. And hey, it is not real money after all. (Although it would be nice to have this kind of money in the bank.)

After 4-5 seasons players like him will be close to regular YA players leaving for senior teams imo. It will all even itself out, so sure you can have this guy for 40 mill, and have a little bit of advantage over the rest of us, but that won't last long

I just scouted him because I was curious and if there was a player I'd pay $40M for, I'm not sure his him.

Yes, the further this game progresses the less his value would have been. A few more seasons and there will be more like him. So for the first few season the fastest stadium builders are able to buy the players to win. In a few seasons then a lot more max stadiums will be around and the real managers will step up because they can't buy a team. lol.

i am not economic expert but one player per weak (is the season 22 weaks) that´s make 22 player 3 player from the draft + all the free transfer listed player that´s make a lot of player in this game so i think that will result in low price player in the future or in the worst case "dead" transfer market

(that is only my opinion hope i am wrong)

If a manager wants to back the armored truck up to a players house... then by all means they have that right.

but @thenewninerfan... I'm with you.. I pretty much stay out the TM but not because of the prices.. but because of the process.

And when i did buy my kicker for 8.5 as he wa the first draft-player hitting the market that was also outragious.

Well the "ordinary" free agents is at a sky high right now and its impossible to get a decent player below 10 millions.

Alot got maxed stadium now and that get the prices up, 7

It was probably a good thing buying these players at last season and in the beginning of this cuz even i think this player was a little to much.
