Is it just me or are there very few players as good as the ones that were available last season? Have started to put together my draft order and I'm finding it quite difficult!

The quality seems about the same to me, but I haven't actually compared my stats for both drafts.
I think the top of this draft is pretty good. I remember the bottom of last season's draft was a bit ugly. If I had to guess, I'd say last season's looked much better in comparison to our at-that-time roster, and of course this season the talent gap is a lot closer between the draftees and our rosters. If I get two instant starters I'll be pretty happy. Especially if they are an RB and anywhere on defense. I don't want to draft a SF, but I could sure use one. I'm still going with a best-available-player draft plan. (Not sure how to rank for best, but trying!) |

I didn't go into big detail in comparing this draft to the last one but just a general view I thought. I think the physical skills are definitely lower, which is ok as long as they're not all capped! This season will be tougher to draft good players too just because there are now more managers who know what they're doing rather than alot of bots

Last I looked there are only 14 active managers in Claymore 1.1, so with a bit of luck we should do okay.

I made sure to check the physical skills after all 3 draftees last season had their main skill capped. Hoping for better this season!

I've seen 5 draftees up close and personal.
My impression so far is that you can expect either Speed or Strength to be close to cap. (as you say) -two of them are red capped and yellow capped: one will make it to 40/40+ and the other already is 40+/40+. -two are red capped on Speed, but since they are both 47+, I'm not crying. They are uncapped on Str: one in the 30s, one in the 20s. -one is yellow capped on Str, but will also get to 40/40. Last edited on 2012-02-13 20:34:20 by Lee1950 |
