Yeah.... I made mention in another thread that my punter, IMO, lost me a game because of a net 11yd punts on 12 attempts. I thought it was because he was an 18yr call up from the YA with a 18 skill in punting with low TC.. coupled with me having no ST coach.
He is within his position change period so I hope this is a bug because I've taken out all punt players except 4th and 21+... I'll test it during the next friendly. |

I was a little bit frustrated, cause I thought I did know nothing about skills.  
Then all players who are within the free switch period are affected with this bug. Not only the drafted players. Is this right? Ok, I will watch my further stats if this bug is still active. Thanks a lot  |

Like players from the TM who are naturally in their free change period when they join your team. Did these players miss blocks/tackles etc. they shouldn't have and this result was only really out of place for kickers/punters with their low yardage and misses? If this is the case then I'm grateful for these wacky kickers and punters, since I don't think this bug could've been fixed so soon looking at missed blocks or tackles. It just doesn't stand out so much. |

Basically it affects only a few playtypes in a big way, where less skills are involved. Like all kicking/punting as example. But yes, affected was the whole gameplay - and this is the reason why I can't wait til season end to fix it.

My kicker is 3 of 8 in FG, But is doing great in kickoffs

On each single play the engine is copying skills based on the database values, and all the factors out of TC and so on, and based on the Coaches factor of course. After that it calculates based on that factor skills then game situation. And now the bug kicks in. For regular players all was fine, but for players within the switching period the factors where calculated wrong, which caused lowering the skills during the gameplay, kind of a "energy hit", but on the skills. So the kicker had 30 kicking, and then, in the 4th quarter maybe only 20 kicking as a base for calculation. This caused the effects we have seen. On Special team situations it is quite critical, cause we have less skills involved, therefore a single skill affects the result much more, and we have less players involved in the situation, that was the problem. |

Just of note... I think the bug is fixed because my punter upped his avg of 16yd per punt to 28 yd per punt. 45% increase i'd say fixed the bug... right Admin?
