When I run up the middle, then the play is a run over the center. Makes sense.
When I run on the flanks, then the play is a running over the right/left end. So is there a what to run over the guard or over the tackle? Steve SD Blitz |

I understand what over the guard and over the tackle means, I just don't know if you can designate them from the run directions.

Steve SD Blitz More speculating, less experience. I know that the opponents DE has a lot to do, if you run only over his side. I think it will be difficult to reproduce the way of the RB. |

I have my fastest rbs attacking the flanks and try for the stronger fb to hit the middle on shorter yardage situations. From what i can see, the flank attack will rush holes 2 and 3 and up the middle, holes 1 and 2.
hole 1=eithr side of C hole 2=both sides of Gs hole 3=both sides of DEs |

Actually, I believe there are 7 run directions:
1. Left End 2. Over Left Tackle 3. Over Left Guard 4. Over Center 5. Over Right Guard 6. Over Right Tackle 7. Right End Will test the combo run (ie. left and middle) on Friday. Steve SD Blitz |

Outside LT Inside LT/LG Inside LG/C- - - - - - - - -left side Outside C/RG Outside RG/RT Inside RT- - - - - - - - - - -right side No big deal. |
