Hi Steve,

thank you for sharing some very useful information. With regards to your line "Run Right/Left - always right/left end" my question: with End you mean TE? Does that mean when I choose Run R/L the only blocker involved will be a TE? I didn't know that.

And another question. Do FB only block for pass or also for rushing?

I think the conventional wisdom is that it FB only block on passing plays (with the current game engine). I believe this was confirmed by Pete.

As for end runs, I think Pete implied that these were down the sideline or in the outer sections of the field. I'm not sure who exactly is blocking in those cases.

The outer OL/DL (OG/OT/DT/DE) of that side...sometimes the Referee

Never the TE on that side (if applicable)?

Thanks for responding, guys.

Here's yet another question. If I don't substitute players, will my players on the depth-chart line up from left to right?

Therefore if I want to exploit the skills of 2 good OL I could, for example, place them on the 2nd spot on the depth chart (OG and OT) and they will team up on the right side of my centre?

Maybe it's very obvious, but I'd feel better if someone confirmed before I start creating useless new playbooks..

Go into Manual - - > Formations and you'll find the pick order for each formation (first pick is first spot)
