Really - the only negative to the present system occurs when you are willing to spend ANY amount to own a player, and you can't be online to sit for 30+ minutes while another manager who wants the same guy at ANY price keeps bidding.

...hmmm, not sure, that i would support that. Seems what you are looking for, is to close the last gap, where a "non-Top-Gun-Club" has a chance, to get a star player. In that case because, the "non-Top-Gun-Club" may not be able to online to bid, but, hey, thats live.

Also, the prizes would increase even more.

Not a good idea, sorry.

What is wrong with the free market, supply and demand system?

Answer: absolutely nothing!

It's only a game with a fantasy currency. What happens if we call the currency 'camel toes' or 'dangle berries' instead of 'dollar'?

Maybe then people won't complain about outrageous prices anymore..

I've no problem whatsoever with the free market, prices should be driven by the market, supply and demand are key to any economy and it's quite right that is the case here. People have money, so prices are naturally high.

My only issue is with being unable to bid exactly what I want for a player when I am online.....

I wanted that CB, but didn't have enough. He was the number one rated cb by me for my draft...

Only 44 Speed, though, so not an elite CB - but a darn fine SF!

Well, he has a yellow mark on speed...better than red

I desperately needed an impact player for my secondary, we´ll see on which postition he finally will end up.

Seems like the real problem is not with the TM but with the financial system. It’s very easy to make money [I have gone from 0 to 7 Million in a couple of weeks.] Maybe there should be some type of random system where a mgr can lose money {career ending injury to high dollar player, stadium fire, secretary fraud 90 percent of funds missing]}

Looks like two different issues to me. Kind of a game within the game. I’m sure given time the financial part of this game could get very interesting, but it would have to be simple as well for new players.

As it is right now [not saying it’s wrong] but there is a huge gap between older teams and new ones like mine in terms of money which gives a huge advantage to the older teams. Maybe something like a salary cap, or 45 senior team roster limits with a 10-player limit for YA would help some.

I could deal with kind of a maximum transfer amount per week/month/season

You know, I would hate to see a change now that satisfies those who are concerned with not having enough funds to currently win the top players, and then in 3 seasons there will be a group complaining there isn't enough funds due to the high salaries.
