This is question for the admin. I hope you could answer this.

I lost my last league game and my opponent played allways over the left side. Is there a mechanism in the engine, which let the defense change their defending behaviour?

@ JohnnyP: Sorry, that I make your clever tactic public.

Had a similar question once upon a time. The engine learns if you prefer run or pass. But not the side you run or pass to.

If this is true, than I to argonize over a conter defense to prevent such a mortification in the playoffs.

Is it the fact that he's always running to the left side or is it the fact that he's running Shotgun w/ 4 WR's and isolating his FB on your LBs?

He rushed and passed allways to the left side, independent of the formation. Most time it was 4-WR-Shortgun.

I guess the one sided tactic takes off some people...when you run through the middle against a 5 DL line, at least 3 of these 5 dl have a clean tackle chance if they survive the blocking. If you shift to one side, then it might reduce to 2 or even 1 player only. And yes, the "exploit" comes from the fact you are attacking over the outer routes, not from the all game long pass/rush/whatever

So is that your weaker side or why was that successful?

Presumably he stacked his better O-Linemen on the left side?

The side was a little bit weaker. The success was a combination of darkwing, good switching between pass and rush out of a 4-WR-Shortgun and homefield advantage.
The darkwing was sucessful, because I didn't substitute my DL and LB, to have allways my best players on the field. So he destroyed my RDE and ROLB. If this was his intention, than it was a great tactic or it was only luck.

My intention is not to blame Johnnys good tactic. I only wanted to know, if the defence could automatically can react. If I understood the Admin right, they can't. So I try to use this in my way.
