You can already set your playbook options to focus on defend vs run or defend vs pass.

But that won't stop JonnyP. He (wisely/cleverly/evilly >pick one< ) mixes enough passes in that your MLB will seldom be more than 60% right in guessing Run/Pass.

And since he floods one side of your defense, guessing run/pass isn't the answer, even if your MLB was 100% right with his defensive calls. You really need the ability to assign another defender to focus on the overloaded side.

You can do the same thing he does, overload your best defenders on that side. If skills and all are equal, then this would take care of it. The problem would be if he switches sides. Then it becomes a little bit of a cat and mouse game.

Why pick only one?

You're right - clever and wise.

Swichting the order in wich defender are choose could help. At this moment the system choose the players in all plays starting from left to rigth.
So we have that the best poffense players are in the left side of the attack, but the best players of the defence are place on the rigth side of the attack (defence left side).
OFC we can swicht our starters, but when the replacements will come to the field they will fill first the left side positions.

You and sfniner08 are exactly right. There is still one wildcard - how long you and your opponent elect to go with the starters, and what PC % you sub at.....

I asked before and again i do ask direct to Admin

Why(!) does it have to be this way?

Why is it fixed?

Could it not be an option to choose if i want LtoR or RtoL?

I think the loss of energy is more related to the number of snaps than the action on the field. The LDE with 15 Tackles and 50 snaps loose nearly the same Energy like RDE with 0 Tackles and 50 snaps. So the RDE would not switch to LDE, because the Backups would kick in for both positions.
