The plan was to switch the background from time to time, if special things happen.

Can think of Xmas, Superbowl-Sunday, such things.

Ideas welcome!

Ah, we will refuse things like "the cat of my uncle has 2nd birthday"

Many people are using wide screens. (16:9)
Now I have ~4cm of unused space on the left and right sides of the screen.
But I allways need to use scroll to use menu.
To move menu and toolbar to the left side, and make it as non scrolled can help.

According to the statistic: not enough at the moment. I am not ready to lock those people out for the advantage of others

The special event themed background is a good idea, but I was thinking more about the basic background being the grass/football field etc...something green. It just looks good with this design IMO.

As for scrolling up a lot becoming an issue with the new design, could the menu line stay fixed as we scroll down? It would fix this inconvenience most of us have right now IMO. I could send you a link in PM to show what I mean Pete.

I already have several ideas in mind I have to discuss with Peter the next days. So just be a little bit more patient please, it's not forgotten just in internal review

Not needed, but thanks.

As pointed out by preachie...we are on the discussion already. On the other side I don't like to make changes from changes within "minutes". So please be patient, and give us some time to discuss all the possible options, before we make a decision.
