I saw this guy who didn't seem to have a bad team - - been around a while, big stadium, decent Super Cup performances, but 0-7 in league play. I couldn't figure out why his league record was so poor other than intentionally throwing games...

Solana_Steve is well observing everything
I build a case because of this and i hope Admins gives an anwser: Team X is playing in Div 1.1 level Team X has activated bot flush Team X gets relegation because is dead last Is there a chance that Team X directly again gets promotion because of activated bot flush? The point is: playing bad - get good draft place - is a thing not can avoid But if such a team gets relegated then directly gets promoted again into a strong Div 1.1 could lead for him to play bad again by purpose next season and repeat get again good draft pick - he did once why not twice So Admins - is this "relegate but promote again because of bot flush" possible? |

Hey, if they want to play stupid let them play stupid. How many of us get the number one choice we want in the draft? Many. A bad finish gets you little to nothing in the draft more than a good finish.

+1 Niner....
Dude probably hurting himself in the end cause of the loss of bonus money. Everybody's draft is different as there is no consensus #1. I say let him do him.... High risk he has... |

Not only Bonus Money, but also less spectators in general.
I don't like such behavior, but if a manager decides to do it that way ... let him. |

Why are you upset? its not your decicion.
He is a new manager who joins this game in league 2!! but he didnĀ“t know about the bot flush and so, when the season changes he was in league 1. So when he thinks its the best way for him to go down to league 2 then fine for me! I wish him good luck for that |

I will also do the same...but for a different reason. I really maniatic with the "get all trophies/achievements" possible. So in a very moment, if i have a bad start in league (1-3 or 0-4) i can consider about forget the league and focus on cup looking for the relegation (ofc with bot flush deactivated).
No need to say that after got the trophies my plan is never come back to the 2.x divisions. |

In this early stage of RZA money means nothing, on the other hand well trainable players give a huge advantage.
My opinion is, that this practice is unsportsmanslike, and we should prevent it by rules somehow. |

My opinion is, that this practice is unsportsmanslike, and we should prevent it by rules somehow. But where to start? I did not use the bot-flush in season 1 because i wanted to earn promotion - but all the way i did not lost by purpose - is this sportsmanlike? When this came up i was asked to use the bot-flush and not to screw the game and so on. Sure in this clear case losing by purpose is clear evident - but there will be cases there is not. So punish the "dumb" ones but let the "smart" ones walk away? I now in NFL there is the possibility of "forfeit draft picks" - but i do not see need to act like it here. Again my opinion: drafting good players means nothing - i observe some teams that drafted "monsters" in last 2 drafts and they do not really overperform. But i would like to have an answer to my initall question in this thread by Admins, because therein is a great hidden "abuse potential" |
