i wanted that player so badly, but i dident want to go over 10 million...

And today you did not want to spend even more than 9 Million - so you rate intelligence over TW?!?

Yeap, it went to expensive for me

Im not willing to buy players for that amount of cash since it will hurt my team more then i will get for it.

The risk this that guy was that his strength and speed were relatively low, so if he caps low, it might be an issue. Otherwise, a very nice player.

As a newbie, seemed to me when going through manual TW was key. Seems to me best plan is to target very high TW players from the Academy ... make them OL or DL (maybe LB) depending on physicals as these positions use TW aand prioritise on very good OL and DL ACs.

Dunno how it would work in practice ... vets could answer.

Seems to me there's a danger of all the developed players being clones when the game matures - all with very high TW, INT and similar skill distribution and probably similar physiques certainly within the same position.

Think the Talent attribute is under-used. Maybe would be better if the gap between them was 2.0 instead of 1.5 which would make Talent more important and you might get different types of player .. eg speedster receivers that can't catch.

Player development looks a bit like GLB ... eg I'll take catching to 40 then vision to 30 and so on which is a bit of a shame as most of the players will have the same-ish style build.

I agree...I think Talent isn't a huge factor. Will players be similar? I think maybe that's where special traits might help out a bit.

At present I don't see an incentive to build a Speed back, a Power back, and 3rd Down back, since you don't have much control over which back is up in the rotation for special downs.

- You can't bring Brandon Jacobs in on 3rd and 1. He might be there, he might not.
- I can't call a draw to Darren Sproles on 2nd and 15.

Similar for TEs and FBs. I can't be sure if my blocking FB or my rushing FB is next up. So you have to train Carry and Block.

I understand the need to prevent managers from coming up with exploits (and you know we would ) but the result is that many players will be trained quite similarly.
