It seems to me that your opponent gets a huge HFA when:

-you face several ingame injuries, that shuffles your lineup completely
-your QB throws many interceptions and your top RB fumbles in the same game
-you get the following commentary for eg.:
"HBC running on the left end, DEL breaks through, TER blocks, DEL tackles HBC for no gain (or even for loss)"

If you think you have similar examples, just feel free to share.

I'm sorry,but ..... are you really being serious ?

I just can't see what HFA has got to do with :-

Injuries - totally random, I would've thought
Ints & Fumbles - correlated with Passing (for QB's), Carrying (for RB's)

I think HFA is very small and only shows when two teams are very closely matched i.e. if you lose 28-0 or win 28-0, then you were always gonna lose/win even if your game was played on Mars or Jupiter.

once again, I'm sorry and don't want to appear rude, but I just don't see what any of your examples have to do with homefield advantage.

I would not have written them down, had not they occured on more occasions. When I played at home, they happened in my favour, when away, my opponent favour.

Int and fumbles can easily turn a game around. Probably the chance is not only
correlated with player skills, but HFA may have an influence either.

My drafted(! not a poor one) HB fumbled..., ok, it may happen. Question is, who recovers. If the home team recovers most of the time, it may be the result of HFA.

My drafted (!) TER blocks a DEL, who still tackles a HB running the opposite end is strange. For no gain or even for loss is even more weird...

These are examples, that I experienced in some of my close games.
I cannot prove, but my feeling is that these actions may have correlation with HFA.

I havenĀ“t cheked the fumbles of my RBs...but there are games where they fumble more often than others...so, you might be right...

Admin around?

btw: the outcome of our last match is really ridiculous when simply comparing the combined yardage...the turnover were really the difference maker and i had the HFA

Admin sober?

I'm guessing that thee HFA means that one of the teams gets either a partial or across the board skill bonus. So does HFA cause more fumbles, interceptions, missed blocks? Not directly, but having a larger disparity in skill levels probably would.

Yes, I am. No alcohol for the whole week

HFA adds a very very (period) small amount on the main skills for the hometeam. So yes, staistically it can cause more fumbles/tackles/...but I am quite sure if 2 teams are playing two games in a row, one with and one without HFA, you could not measure it...
