damn. seems i will meet pigs again in the divisional round. unless fajny beat malakas, which is unlikely. but we will wait and see, anything can happen in playoffs

1st Round Predictions...
These, are for the most part, barring MOTY the easier games to pick in the playoffs. Fajny @ Malakas Malakas should win this game by 2 touchdowns...but it is the playoffs with the turbo boost option.... Pigs @ LOL Easy call for pigs vs bot. They are in the same boat to a degree as me because our opponents do not have full stadiums, so the income boost won't be as significant... Dynamos @ Horada Easily the best first round draw for the favorite. At home vs a bot! Horada in a blow out. Me @ Kolin I cross my fingers in this game if he uses MOTY, if he does not then I feel safe as I won 73-10 not that long ago vs Kolin. |

1st Round Results
Horada and Panoramix easily stomped their bots. I'm thankful that Kolin didn't use MOTY vs me. I prevailed in double digits. Fajny vs Malakas....I had said Malakas by 2 td's right? Missed that one. Fajny holds on to a 14-10 lead. Malakas had a 3rd and 9 on Fajny's 34 yard line with 5 minutes to go and didn't convert. That was the last good chance for Malakas in the game. Grats Fajny! Next Up Interesting to note, no games feature teams who have played each other this season. Me @ Girona I don't think I've ever played Girona before, not in league anyway. This will be one of those grind it out games. During the regular season Girona had the #3 rush offense and #3 rush defense. I had the #4 rush offense and #1 rush defense. I honestly have no idea what happens in this game for the outcome. I think it will be a close game regardless, barring the MOTY exploit 
Horada @ Mystic Horada better have his secondary ready as Mystic likes to throw the ball. Mystic had the #3 pass offense and #7 pass defense in the league and Horada had the #20 pass defense to go with the #29 pass offense. On the other hand the situations are relatively reversed on rushing. You have complete opposite style teams facing off. That means...the big plays will make the difference. I have my own interest in this game as in season 1 Horada was the one keeping me in second place in the division and in seasons 2/3 it is Mystic who has kept me down. Good luck. Fajny @ Pink Panthers It is a battle for some serious bragging rights, the best of Poland! Fajny keeps talking about how he expects to lose games, but he keeps winning! Nice transition from 2.1 by the way. So, the Panthers had the #1 rush offense and # 2 rush defense this season. Fajny had the #1 pass defense and #11 rush defense. On offense he was #10 for rush and #19 for passing. Fajny has a balanced approach all around, but I'm not sure he can keep up with the ground game of the Panthers. Majalorca Pigs @ Valhalla Pigs have # 2 rush offense and the # 4 rush defense with the # 16 pass defense and #26 pass offense. So they like to run, period. Valhalla on the other hand takes the more balanced approach with the #8 rush offense, # 6 rush defense, #10 pass defense, and # 14 pass offense. Unfortunately Valhalla won't be able utilize the sturdy pass defense in this game. If Valhalla can make plays in the air they have a better chance in this game. How funny! It comes down to the two divisions with tough division rivals facing off against each other. Going off of history one would think it would be panthers vs mystic.. we will see..

Conference Championships...since both teams in each cc game are from the same divisions they have played twice, so we know or rather we think we know something about how it could go....or do we?
Panthers vs Pigs Game 1 @ Panthers 30-7 Panthers over Pigs. Panthers were rolling all season but have come through some bumpy games recently. In the last few weeks they have lost to Pigs @ Pigs 7-20, lost to Turtle in SC playoff 0-9 and made a comeback vs Fajny in the last playoff game. I once had Panthers as the shoe in to win this whole thing this season...but now doubts have begun to creep in. The benefit Panthers have is this at home where they have been strong. A coin toss. Really. I have no idea where this game goes and if someone uses their MOTY or not. Me vs Mystic. Homefield advantage? HAHA. I lost to Mystic 0-23 at home early in the season and the last game of the regular season I beat him 42-21 at his stadium. This game is at his stadium although I do not think the game will be as the last one. I think he was experimenting with settings as that game made no difference in playoff picture. I'm not using MOTY, I'm saying that out loud now. If he uses it then he wins for sure, but then the chances vs the league championship diminish greatly as his players will be low on PC vs the other team. If he doesn't use it then it is a coin flip as well...lol Both games could go either way. I know, it sounds like I'm being political about this, as though I'm not willing to take a risk and pick a winner...but I REALLY DON'T KNOW! lol. IF I had to pick a game winner it would be Me vs Panthers, but that just means it will end up Pigs vs Mystic in championship lol. On a side note, I have a tough week of games here. First I played Girona today, not an easy game regardless of the score. Then I play Pigs in SC playoff game (don't worry Panoramix, I'm not using MOTY in that game) then Mystic. Geez. I suppose Panoramix is similiar in schedule difficulty too. I feel that there is a sort of balance out there that isn't quantifiable, but it dictates that for a streak of fortune a streak of misfortune is on the way. I was lucky to make it though and win the Iron Man Cup so I have a feeling in my bones I'll lose vs Mystic and Panoramix this week and have that MOTY sitting there useless. lol Good luck to ALL! |
