I've just re-read the Manual section on Team Chemistry, there are 2 things that I think are slightly wrong (see below), what do you guys think ?? :-
(1) You can only raise TC by actually playing games. So ... a player who is not in the depth chart could be on your roster for 10 seasons but still have a TC of 10% ?. In real life, this wouldn't be the case ... e.g. last season, Matt Flynn was No.2 QB for Green Bay, he only played in 1 or 2 games, but judging by the way he played in the final regular season game (5 or 6 TD's plus 400/500 passing yards) it looked to me like he was very much 'part of the team' i.e. his TC was 100% !. What I'd like to see is TC increased in 2 ways...........(a) As now i.e. by playing games (b) a smaller amount (1 or 2% maybe ?) just for being on the roster. By this method, long-serving players would eventually reach 100% TC even if not playing (2) TC increases by 2.5% for a Friendly, 5% for a League Match, and by 7.5% for a SuperCup match. Why ? I think the League is actually more important than Supercup, I'd like to see it reversed i.e. 5% for SuperCup and 7.5% for League (or maybe 6.25% for both ! ). |

2) the more special the game, the more TC. I think this is not wrong
1) this means a player you are keeping til 20 in your YA would enter the field for the very first time with 100%. I don't like that. However, if this should change, we can have another poll on this issue |

However, if this should change, we can have another poll on this issue Not giving TC to players in the Youth Academy and keeping it only for players on the senior roster (even if they're not on the depth chart) could be a solution maybe? Edit: Ha, it's already been suggested... note to self: refresh before posting next time. Last edited on 2012-04-05 19:15:16 by Meitheisman |

2) the more special the game, the more TC. I think this is not wrong I don't agree with you here ! ...... don't get me wrong, I like the SuperCup (it is 1000 times better than Regional Cup in -TOG-! ), but I don't view SuperCup as being more 'special' than the league, I see the opposite, here's why .... (1) In the Supercup, once you get to 2 losses then that's probably it, you're not going to qualify, therefore the Cup isn't 'special' (for the 2-loss team) anymore. (2) All the 1.1 leagues are MUCH more competitive than the Supercup groups unless you're really really unlucky and somehow get drawn in a real "group of death" with 7/8/9 of the really top RZA teams, I know some groups are tougher than others but I've not heard of a group-of-death, unless somebody knows differently ........ So for me, League is more 'special' than Supercup. |

It's more realistic, gaining TC even without playing but lowering morale when you're not in DC... Moreover, it would enhance the advantage of having a psychologist... But I think Morale should lower to a 'baseline' level (50% maybe) and then still rise/fall slightly according to the team's results etc. My thinking is ...... yeah, the player is pissed off that he's not playing, therefore Morale suffers initially, but ... some players are positive people and will work hard, stay very motivated etc etc to try and gain back their place in the team. |

That is all true, but we need a way to "award a penalty" to a manager who is "abusing" the bench
