That is all true, but we need a way to "award a penalty" to a manager who is "abusing" the bench

but what is "abusing" the bench ? can you explain that please ?.

btw,I've currently got 70 players (max) plus 22 YA (max) , so am I "abusing the bench" ? ...... I thought I was just being indecisive about who to cut/who to keep

IMO: if a player is benched all the time, you can not expect him to be good when he enters the field "one time oer season"...we have seen this in the NFL and all other leagues so many times.

Basically, I would like to "force" the manager to play all his guys, if he wants to keep them on a high level. If the manager is refusing this, this is what I would call abusing the bench, even abusing was not meant to be negative or offensive.

Isn't that what Friendlies & Bot stomps are for? Play the guys that aren't good enough to play during games that actually matter. I agree with some kind of morale hit for players that aren't getting any PT.

For example, my #3 QB is horrible (same with my #9 OL), but he's 21 so couldn't stay in my YA. He plays as my #2 QB in Friendlies and Bot Stomps, so he does get some PT.

OK, I'll go along with you on this one, but what I'd then really like to see is some new features in the DC section i.e. Copy/Rename/Delete/Save-as .
My thinking is .... at the moment, I think the only way to create a Depth Chart is by starting from scratch. I'd like to be able to create one "master" DC and then quickly create/change other DC's by commands/features such as copy/rename/save etc.
I could then create, edit and maintain a "League-DC" , "Friendly-DC", "BOT-DC" "Supercup-DC" etc very easily ..... and by doing this I could keep a roster of 70 players who all play regularly whilst still satisfying the 55 player restriction maximum of the DC .

Basically, I would sum up this by saying:

Team Chemistry
- Stay with the in game gains (maybe just a little lower)
- Add a slight gain by training session (excluding YA)

Morale
- Lower Morale after a game for players non on DC (or even players on DC who don't play even if a victory feels good) excluding injured players

Pros
- More realistic as TC is up when you stay in a team for a while
- Morale hit when you don't play is quite logic as guys being fed up benching...
- Finally, it gives a boost to the psychologist attributes which was the less important staff member IMO

Someone make a suggestion with reasonable values for gained and lost %, and it gets +10 from me

Since it seems to be Admins wish to have more reality factor

Then dear Admin take action to get more realtiy in the game overall

Example: all the teams intentionally losing in league and biasing the results just to get a better draft pick

This is simply ridicoulous more and more and when reading this thread only thing left for me is to laugh out loud

IMO I don't think you should be able to get to 100% TC just by sitting on a bench.

I like the idea that a player gains some TC by just being around the senior team but 100% is too high.

My thought...And ADMIN will love this as it would be more work...lol

What if a player could increase by 1-2% on the bench but can only increase over 70% thru game play???

somebody (solana_steve, I think) started a thread about deliberately losing games, most people agreed in the thread that (a) there wasn't much to gain (draft pick) but alot to lose (attendance money, morale, win bonus etc) from intentionally losing (b) that it's almost impossible to prove INTENT i.e did somebody lose because their tactics/team wasn't good enough or because they tried to lose .... tell me how you prove this ??

but if you think this is really happening, maybe now is the time to go public with your thoughts by "naming and shaming" the teams ....you'd need to be able to prove it though or it would cause one hell of a load of trouble.

Its not about naming and shaming

And proving is easy

Just check the team records

League 0-11 or 2-9
Cup 11-0 or 9-2

and there are several teams around

But for sure its just a Turtle thing again seeing how "unintersting" things like "how to gain" or "if to gain a bit PC" is counted important
