The topic of this thread is about team chemistry not league position or draft pick.

off topic:
it is the same in reality AF. Look what the colts or the rams did last season. The colts saw that they have no chances for playoffs, so they loose for draft number 1. Of course they wouldn´t say it on press conferences or something but such a strategy is realistic.

There is Supercup and League why should everybody have to dance on every wedding?

Its not about naming and shaming

And proving is easy

Just check the team records

League 0-11 or 2-9
Cup 11-0 or 9-2

and there are several teams around

But for sure its just a Turtle thing again seeing how "unintersting" things like "how to gain" or "if to gain a bit PC" is counted important

OK ... check my record :-

League 4-7 , Cup 10-2 .... so am I intentionally losing ? if so, can you tell me which game(s) I intentionally lost and the proof ("proving is easy") please ?

Correct.
However, Turtle has an interesting approach to this game and whilst I don't always agree with everything he says , I'm keen to listen to anyone who has something interesting to say, and Turtle seems to have something interesting to say here

Because if a team is deliberately losing it shows a fundamental disrespect for the opponents, the rest of the league/cup competition, the other managers of RZA (in general) and the 1000's of hours of hard work that Pete has put in to make RZA one of the best games that there is.

Nice one this thanks sh8888

Indeed you dont show sign of "intentional losing"

So i need to modify - but still its easy:

When team beats bots in cup and loss against bot in league than it is clear

So and now i will stop since the effort is not worth because it wont change anything

Yeah, I'll go 100% with Turtle on that comment...... that is very suspicious. Once your team is good enough to beat a Bot (i.e. very soon !), you'll never ever lose again to a Bot.

For sure, but why do you care about those managers... They defined their strategy this way to be more competitive... Some others sell their draft picks, refuse the BOT flush...

I understabd Turtle, but some managers have other vision of the game and I don't think that they deserve to be blamed that much...

It´s has nothing to do with disrespect. Why do you think so? It is only a strategy. With more and more better teams in the game it isn´t realistic to win every title every time. it is the same now with teams which have 2 defeat in the SC. They also have a different strategy. Some teams use the SC for tests. So maybe they lose because they test something.

Why this should be disrespecting opponents or pete?

scenario: I join the game after 3 days I go to league 1 because of the bot flush. League 1 is very tough. So I have no chances to go for playoffs and have to fight for relegation over seasons.

why you want to forbit me to go down to league 2 because I am not ready for league 1?

Why this should be disrespecting opponents or pete?

disrespect is only calling somebody stupid because he doesn´t do the same like anybody else.

IMO I don't think you should be able to get to 100% TC just by sitting on a bench.

I like the idea that a player gains some TC by just being around the senior team but 100% is too high.

My thought...And ADMIN will love this as it would be more work...lol

What if a player could increase by 1-2% on the bench but can only increase over 70% thru game play???

back to topic

i like the 70% max from non playing time TC and think 1-3%(random) each training session for senior players would work well.

i think a 10% morale hit for each league and cup game not in the DC would be fair as well

OK this sound good but I would say that there should be a bottom cap for how low a guys morale can go when not on the dept chart
it should be similar penalty to changing positions (50-60%)???

Two points here :-

(1) It almost sounds as if you are admitting to deliberately losing, if that is the case then it's entirely up to you, however I just can't understand that type of attitude and I probably never will. To me, deliberately losing seems futile and contrary to the spirit of this game

(2) Imagine if everyone wanted to lose deliberately, what would happen ?? ...... the transfermarket would go bananas; Good players would be worthless - who wants a good player when everyone wants to lose.
However, good news for teams with crap players, their transfer market would rocket as everyone fought for the crappest players .... after all, in the new world of 'bad-is-the-new-good' who wants to win ? winning is for losers.

There are currently 544 managers, hopefully this will steadily rise in order to make the 2.1/2.2 divisions more competitive, the SuperCup more competitive, and ... eventually.... open up the 3.1/3.2/3.3 divisions ...... but I really cannot see RZA ever becoming a success if many more managers join with the attitude "yeah, it's OK to deliberately lose".
If everyone starts to deliberately lose, RZA as a credible game will collapse in a short space of time ... fortunately for everyone, the "want to lose" mentality seems to be very rare ... long may this continue.
