I've never trained PC unless it gets to about 50-60% on a player. Then I'll change it when they get to 70. I still seem to win OK.

I ask because when I first started playing at the beginning of the 2nd season, I don't remember reading that it was important or I ignored it.

My team is at 62% PC but I can't find that it is hurting my performance that much. I do notice that my overall drops after a game but then goes back up when I train. I am assuming that PC affects your overall also??

It is very important when playing against high leveled teams. If all things are equal that pc will definitely tip the scales.

As above PC is important for high level teams...sometimes the only difference

I try to keep mine above 90% and even 95% for key players when playoffs come around

Once my season is over (no more playoff games), I stop training PC. At EOS many of your players with reasonable Teamwork will recover PC on their own, so offseason is a good time to focus on other skills.

I think PC is almost ignored by some Managers, imho it can badly hurt your team if it's low.
Let me give you an example .... I played a league match very recently against a team with a roster that looked pretty good. This team had good coaches and his overall ratings all looked to be in a good place. But I did smile to myself when I saw the Overall Team PC was less than 60%.

I think it's a better team than mine, but just physically under-prepared.
The scores in each of the quarters seems to underline what I'm thinking i.e. 3,7,14,14 .... I interpret this as both teams starting out as pretty even, but then his team quickly tiring ... to the point that I can just run right over the top of him. I think this team probably would have beaten me if his PC was similar to mine.

To me, PC is a no-brainer ....why would you go to the time/trouble of setting a playbook, creating a depth chart, setting game instructions, hiring some coaches and then turn up with your team only trained to 60%/70% PC. It's a bit like buying the latest 200mph Ferrari and then driving with the tyres half-flat ... it just makes no sense

I can kind of see ignoring PC as a long-term strategy. It lets you use 100% of your training on skills, which might pay off in a future season. I'm not that patient.

yeah but, do you honestly think that you'd be 12-1 in your league if you'd ignored PC all this season ?

Not really as you have to add it eventually.

It will take the same amount of time to add your PC, it makes sense to do so sooner so you can make more money by winning than to do so later and make less money.

When I started a team here, I trained PC until it hit 100% for a player, then I switched the focus to one of the physical skills.

And every time a player is at PC 95% I train PC to have him at full power after the next training update.
