I like to have my CB's between 35 - 40 Strength, anything more and I move them to DE or LB. I train Agility since I think every position needs it to some degree, but I could be wrong.

As for OL, agility is one of the skills I train. The Pass Blocker Trait gives a bonus to Agilty to OLinemen, so unless that trait is useless, I'll keep training it.

High intelligence is a must for every defensive player (30+).

Is it your guessing or result of serious analysis?

Good catch!

Agree - why is it a must? High intelligence helps some(or maybe all) defenders, but is it so much important?

Guessing of course...
Plus it makes sense to have a high intel group of defensive players playing the guessing game vs. the offense who know what they're doing...usually

I looked at the Draftees and all Skilled Positions on Offense had higher Agility, on Defense it looked like Vision is much more important than Agility.

I think that Draftees have not all usefull skills in the range of 20-25. YOu can look at FB on the draftboard and their carrying is low, but I think every one would agree, that carrying is more than usefull for them.

Concerning carrying for FB it is not so clear. I tried to check # of fumbles vs carrying level and there is no clear evidence that this has to be high. It does seems, that also agility and strength may play some role in formula for fumble.
Translated high strength can compensate low carrying.

If so, then DLs and SFs don't need high INT

Experience does effect player ratings:

Player rating
The player rating is another tool to help you organize your roster. Each rating is a consideration of how the player would perform at a given position. A rating is calculated as an average value of the important skills on a per position basis, with experience added to better reflect their actual performance. The best possible rating is 5*.
