big discussions regarding this MOTY setting now its playoff time so i thought i would ask if anyone has succeeded in doing so?

I think it depends on a few factors...
If there is a huge gap between you and your opponent then MOTY doesn't guarantee anything. If you and your opponent are fairly close then I think it pretty much puts you over the edge for the win. The second factor is if you try to get cute with a playbook. Doing that and using MOTY is just a waste of MOTY, imo. Getting cute with a playbook has burned me, several times. |

I'm pretty sure I won my divisional playoff game Saturday against MOTY (his team PC dropped 5 points).

i know Leeds Celtics won 2 games when his opponent use MOTY
and i know he did not use MOTY against my and 99% sure he did not in the other game |

If both of you do use it ... who ever uses it loose in the finals. Except .... one or both of the other conference finalists uses it, then it is an even match in the Bowl and the luckier one wins in the finals. If non of your conference uses it, the winner is almost a lock for the big win, if the teams from the other conference did use it and won it. If nobody uses it ... the luckiest will win.  |
