Well we will have to just disagree on this one. Although, I would say cycling doesn't compare to Football in terms of the affect of motivation. In football the coach talks and they perform for 30 minutes. Then repeat again for the second half. In cycling they are alone for hours cycling. Different beast all together.
Good luck. |

One individual will win the race (Tour de France etc) but without a strong,disciplined,well-drilled,motivated,tactically smart team around him, that same individual would find it much more difficult (or perhaps impossible) to win the race. |

Agree It seems to me that an emotional side in american football is far more important than in cycling. Therefore motivation plays a bigger role in football. BTW I've watched today "Top 10 motivational coaches" Last edited on 2012-05-22 19:16:07 by alexshans84 |

We lost high, since the motivation was gone due some internal....rumors. And I promise, these guys are sportsmen, no doubt. 2 weeks later the coaches found the trick, and we played the best football team outside USA, and were not that bad, even we lost. A good Coach can always pull some extra performance out of his team, IMO |
