You make a big mistake, all of you...scout the receivers too.

Don´t set a new draftboard and ask me of having any more scouting

the ratio between incomplete and Interception is the thing i doubt if my qb is so bad then not even the DB is so close to the ball that he could intercept so many balls.

And are all Int thrown to the flatzones? Otherwise the percentage of int returned for TD is even to high if the defense player is fast.

His QB is just horrible.

Correct!

it becomes really better when the player are better!

Here the results from my QB when playing in the Power Cup where all is at 40

Att Compl % Yd Avg(A) TD Int
43 14 33 388 9 5 2
64 16 25 397 6.2 5 3

Awesome realistic numbers arent it?

But should I spent a single minute on making these type of results more "realistic"? I doubt this.

Sure Pete if a manager plays against his strenghts sure it´s not worth a second to be used to solve "his" problems but the question is, does this mean you got to have a QB/WR Combo thats has to be segnificant better than the Opposing CB/SF Combo if the Engine does this to a bad QB/WR Combo to a mediacore CB/SF.

No, it is not only this. If the following sounds funny, keep in mind I cannot talk about real skills

A more or less developed team will have a CB with good speed and to return the intercepted ball quite fast, and the former attackers are slow and less , the interception comes to a touchdown.

If a "sucking" QB is playing against DBs with more or less good interception skills, he will get it by these interceptions more than it would be good

If the WR is having bad "beep", he will enter a wrong side of the intercepting DB...

and so on.

If all of these comparisons (the engine is doing simple math, keep in mind) is worse, the interception return TD will become true

Of course we could spend thoughts on making it less harsh, but is it worth it to solve situations that are far away from usual gameplaying?

Have to add. I don't like hardcoded relaxe rules, guess why.

And if the exhaustion of the DBs does not solve the situation, then I guess the losing team "deserves" it.

I get your point, those to games show more or less the worst case scenario.
I have to admid that i don´t have no clue of programming such engines, i just think perhaps there is any possibility to "tell" the Engine, ok we reached 100 Points lets run the "Mercyrule" like it was in youthfootball when a Team leads by 50+.

Simply to keep the score "realistic"
