Do wide receivers use Strength at all? I have a young player penciled in as a WR, but he has a little Strength - 43.1. If a WR doesn't use Strength at all or uses a negligible amount of it, then maybe he would be better served as a TE, SF, CB or something else?

WR get STR training from AC if you train them on that, so my approach was always, if the AC supports it, it's somehow worth it. But how far it's worth it, is unknown.
My guess here is, that they do get into the str battle in contact situations. That would mean, they can break easier tacklings if they have higher str values. But the general rule for the whole roster is: But the player where you need him most. Means, it doesn't make sense to have a very strong wr, while you are weak at te or some other position. |

As jack6 said, there are a lot of unknowns in RZA. I always assume that STR is used to run the route correctly against a CB that tracks the WR. Losing that battle will lower percentage of the catch being made successfully.

But I don't mind having a WR with great strength as long as he is quick (speed 49-50), has trained catching, positioning and vision, and maybe have some traits like Sticky fingers, Slippery or Long carrying. I can't tell you how much is strength important for WR but always good to have some instead of being just quick. |

Easiest way would be to let run 1 team BOT and open a new team somewhere else. Eventually you can run a different team in parallel if you communicate with Peter prior to opening the new team to not having to wait out the BOT status. But beside a switch of region, there is no real sense in opening a new team. All other problems can be easier solved by scrapping the old team and start new with that one. At least that's my oppinion. |
