4:16 2 and 11 to go on own 43, Zachariah Woodard (OC) snaps the ball to Bob Youngblood (QB), Bob Youngblood (QB) selected Kendrick Nagy (WR/R) as target, Tony Bayne (OLB/L) goes for the blitz, Clemente BenÃtez (FB/R) blocks, this outer right pass goes to the receiver, who catches the ball, there is no defensive back around to tackle him, the result is a 57 yards pass (Shotgun 2 WR vs. 3-3-5)
This just happened in my friendly match. I'm a little confused as to why this happens. Obviously Bayne (OLD/L) is blitz so perhaps there is no OLB in the outer right when the receiver gets the pass...but shouldn't there be roughly 5 DB's with a shot to tackle the receiver. Why does it say "there is no defensive back around to tackle him"? There are 4 receivers in Shotgun 2 WR, shouldn't there be a free safety playing back? Or perhaps he's just too slow to get over?
