YA IS VERY USEFUL for those who know how to use it.

Also, consider this ....

where can your players possibly be sourced from ?

(1) Already on your team when you take the team ....obvious problem here i.e. in 10/12 seasons time they'll all be too old or dead !
(2) the TM .... yeah, that's a snake-pit ...let's not go there
(3) The Draft .... potentially 3 great players, but it's never enough is it ?

and that leaves ...

(4) the YA ... a potential source of up to 6 pretty good players per season.
So ....the YA ..it's not perfect, but it's about the best source of youth/talent that there is.

IMO completely discarding YA shows lack of understanding of the options and strategy in this game

I was thinking the exact same thing when reading the post. Of course the game has it flaws, but it is still a new game and still developing and you are taking complaints and suggestions serious.

Wow - great Passing for a 21yo - I think he has more than my Season 2 draftee QB!
I'd like a little more Intelligence (I'll just leave that straight line hanging out there....)

Obviously not aimed at me but.

RZA is a fun game that has got a lot of cracking features and I'll definitely keep playing as the good outweighs the bad.

But ... you need to pay attention to why people aren't staying. To me there are way too many tedious tasks. The draft scouting and the draft board is dire. Its a shame because actually figuring out who to pick and seeing who you get is great fun. But clicking on the players to scout them and the ordering of the board is very poor.

HR to me is a bad feature. Rewarding people (in lower wages) for tedious jobs (having to renegotiate contracts) is the last thing an online game should consider having.

Don't take it the wrong way - like I said the good far outweighs the bad but its this kind of thing that will put people off playing the game.

Personally - the YA is personal preference - but its all a bit DIY build yourself a player to me. I'd like to see more player variation and natural tendencies - got a feeling 10 seasons on all players in a particular position will have the same build based on perceived ideals. Like I said this bit is personal preference but I don't like the DIY ness of the YA.

See, it is fine to have comments like yours that lay things out in a way that is articulated and well mannered. It is quite another to comment in an over aggressive nature with a patronizing tone. This is especially true it you are constantly doing so in many of your posts. I'm sure that many here, myself included, would listen to thoughtful posts that have substance. By the same token we would probably tune out those that rant all the time.
