lol, ok that makes sense. However isn't that the point of the YA, to build a player how you want?

Pete,
Here is your answer. Your game received game of the month on a review site so I decided to check it out. Having been here AND a paid supporter for two seasons I believe I have a right to say what I want. Sadly it appears your buddies don’t agree.

First of all, for those that don’t like my tone try going back and reading some of the responses to my posts. Or better put, Pot meet kettle!

Your game is ok but has some serious issues. Considering it is still new it is understandable. Usually developers WANT to know about problems, for some reason you don’t. If you want to pull the cover over your head and pretend it doesn’t that’s fine by me, IT’S YOUR GAME. But if things stay the way they are don’t be expecting me to reup my paid subscription.

I’m baffled as to why you would spend so much time and effort on developing this game and ignore people’s comments with its faults? Maybe you just want a game for your little group of buddies and nothing more. Kinda what it appears to look like at this point.

[Not intended as an insult but an observation]
For some reason it appears that Europeans can’t handle being told something is wrong or can’t except not everyone agrees with their opinion. Dealing daily with companies from Europe I see this all the time. From mfg. defects and product return, to the situation involving the Euro and currency exchange, it’s like there is this wall of denial Europeans hide behind. So maybe that has something to do with it. Who knows, I really don’t care overall it’s just an observation and a factor I include when dealing with business across the pond.
Having played major college football, a pro tryout and coaching for several years, I kinda think I know the game of football at this point. To be honest I haven’t really said much about the major faults this game has because I understand how difficult dealing with all the variables can be. Adding to problem is a lot of players here appear to be very new to the game of football itself.

The one thing that stands out to me is you have lost the view of the issues facing the new players and to me is the glaring problem why your dropout rate appears to be so high. If you are only going to listen to the top players in your game, your gonna go down in flames and become one of the many failed sim games around.

Pete very simple, if you don’t want me to play your game just refund my money I will leave, not an issue on my part. As a person who invests in start-ups I see development problems all the time. You have a good product, it has GREAT potential. However I also see some red flags flapping in the breeze. Like any smart investor, if I FEEL that the flags are not being dealt with then sometimes it’s just better to cut your losses and sell.

FYI
This will be my final post on the forums, It’s not worth the pissing contest posting ALWAYS brings about. Probably why only a few post here anymore. I’ll just be a player for now. But considering the new improvements to another game I play will probably be spending more time with it. Funny, seems the major loss of players it suffered the last year or so final made the developer stand up and take notice and start listening to his customers. Funny how that works! I like the old school term myself MONEY TALKS, BULLSHIT WALKS…

I apologize to all our European friends on behalf of all Americans. Unfortunately a certain American has reinforced the "Arrogant American Persona" and that is not the prevailing standard for what we strive for.

What we have is a classic example of how something is said makes just as big of an impact if not bigger than the what was said.

What is unfortunate is this thread was created to illicit some ideas for how to utilize a YA and has been hijacked to be something else entirely different.

Can we go back to discussing the YA strategies? That would be most beneficial.

Yep
I try to promote a youth for season at the level of the average draft player. So each season adding 4 talents to the team.
I began at the end of season 2 and at the end of current season will promote my first YA WR and have prospects to promote the next 3 seasons.
First i try to reach streght and/or speed cap to see if the player can play in the chosen position or i should recycle in another position

you can't hit their cap anymore though i thought? since the YA only lets you train til you hit 35, which is the lowest possible cap anyways so 90% or more will be uncapped still at 35

You can´t asign training point at +35 but the player can train (normal train) and gain physicals/skills +35

Shiner PLEASE DON’T APOLOGIZE FOR ME because YOU are a gutless wuss. May I make a suggestion, that maybe you should go back to say maybe the 6th grade and take reading over. Maybe this time you should pay a little more attention to the reading comprehension part! Seems you appear to be as George Bush once said “left behind” in that department.
