If you make the assumption all draft players are capped then yes. I would say it was much more likely that the 21 year old at 42 strength was capped than blaze. Say he was capped at 42 and blaze had no caps. Which one would you choose then?

I don't want a QB with 35.7 Strength .
Therefore I would never in a million years waste a Draft Pick on that QB.

Why do you assume he is capped?

Because I've never had a draft player with a cap lower than 40, even after I drafted them with a strength in the mid 30's. The lower the strength the less likely the cap....

35 is the starting point for caps, that is the impression I have. The % probability he is capped is lower than the guy with 42.

Oh, there is a chance for sure. It is just less likely to happen in the 30's as it is in the 40's. The higher the strength or speed the more likely the cap.

I saw a Draftee on the TM 2 days ago ... I asked the manager about yellow/red ...I did the maths, this player would cap at 37/37.
I know guys who have Drafted O-liners with caps nearer 35 than 40.
They do exist ...just because it hasn't happened to you yet ...doesn't mean it won't !

I'm not a Vegas Roulette wheel type of manager ....one thing I know for sure, and even YOU can't dispute .... the guy with 42 will have AT LEAST 42 no matter what ..... your 35.7 guy could be a 50 guy....or he could be a 35.7 guy.

The thing about age is mainly BS too ....do I want a 19 year old QB with capped strength of 35.7 or a 23 year old QB with strength of 42 ?
I'll have the 42 , thank you very much .... he'll have at least 7 years as a QB with a decent arm ....your 35.7 guy will have a longer but more mediocre career.

You know what is weird to me...the statement "there isn't any incentive to win..."

Really?

Now, I'm not blasting the person who made the comment, but rather the people who the comment is about. ? The incentive to win is well...to win. lol.

As far as the throwing games to get a better pick...I've picked in the bottom 10 of every draft so far and have gotten:
1st draft: my #1 and #6 overall choices
2nd draft: my #3 and #9 overall choices
3rd draft: my #3 and # 8 overall choices.

clearly we don't all value either the draft or the players the same. Throw in some crazy bot picks and the draft is then unpredictable. I don't see a need to go lottery as it seems that in the draft most people are getting what they want regardless of draft position.

Personally I am playing to cap all my players in physicals before worrying about PC so I can establish positions.

I'm not trying to lose but at the same time I'm putting training priorities above winning.
