i must agree with sh on this topic, blaze was no. 5 qb on my list. when i draft, i try to look at the most pessimistic option - draftee has capped physicals. so the physicals are what i look for mostly (besides traits).

How important do you guys think strength is to a QB? I agree, I wouldn't want a QB with 35 capped strength as a #1 draft pick - - but is anyone really clear how big a factor that is? if passing is going to be that important? is 35 versus 4x significant or is 30+ more than enough for a QB? surprising a league champion is suggesting something that wouldn't affect him Errr...actually, my big concern is not other teams strategies, but more how tossing games would potentially affect playoff races because of uneven schedules. Nobody seems to address that possibility. I actually don't think draft order will effect long-term outcomes that much whether its a lottery or reverse of final standings. (kind of reminds me of people in HT complaining about how lucky youth pulls [in the old youth system] was giving their opponents huge advantages). BTW, Galaxy must have smarter owners, because in draft in the last the last couple of seasons, I've gotten players outside of my top-8 or -10 and the 3rd round guys has been pretty sketchy. However, Sfniner will no doubt be taking at least one of these guys as they are 18 and 19 years old, and he values age quite highly. I don't think I'd go within a thousand miles of either of these two QB's. |

Steve SD Blitz The problem is, that we don't know the YAC. Is a 83 Yard TD-pass a 45 Yard bomb plus 38 YAC? Or is it a 20 Yard pass plus 63 YAC? I think, we'll need an u p d a t e on the live-text to know how important strenght is. My two cents? Well, my QB has 47,3 STR... |

Agree with you on YAC...I think I started a suggestion thread on it a while back. Not sure where Pete stands on that...obviously it requires a lot of work and time to implement and test any new feature.
