This is not a joke question, this is actually a serious question ....
Would you take a Punter from the Draft ? The reason that I ask is that there is a very nice Punter in the next Draft. Normally, I wouldn't take a Punter as currently a good Punter can be almost a "one-skiller" and it's easy to build a one-skiller either in the YA or actually on the Senior Roster. However, if in the future things change and there are more skills required for a Punter, then it might be a good 'future-proof' move to go for a Punter ? .... plus the fact that this Punter caught my eye and really does look pretty good as far as Punters go. I still can't help thinking that a Punter is a bit of a waste of a Draft Pick though. |

I bought one ukrainian guy especially to play him as punter, but I wouldn't draft P or K

I know there is no position penalty for P/K and K/P. But can other positions act as P or K as well without penalty?
If so: Since you like him, I guess, his PHYS are high. Maybe you could play him in another position AND as punter? |

This Punter would eventually make a great QB, but it would take too long as his passing and agility are painfully low. I've also got a draft QB, plus there are 15 QB's in my Draft ! (although some of them are shockingly bad). I guess I just don't have the time/patience to re-train Draftees unless it's something more simple such as LB to DL , or KR to RB maybe. |

It´s almost impossible to get a Punter/Kicker out of the draft except you put him on Number1 of your Draftlist.
Last Year in Fire 1.1 there have been 2 Punters and no Kicker, this year its 1 Punter and again no Kicker. More than 30% Plays of a regular Footballgame are Specialteams, i got to find one of my old Playbooks (a Coach of mine had the exact amount in his Specialteamsplaybook), so i think a Punter/kicker is a very important part in RL-Football in RZA i won´t waste a Pick cause even Drafted Kicker a so bad sometimes ... |
