I have two young OLs with very similar skills, but player A has rating 1.5 and player B has rating 2. I can't understand why

Player A:

Intelligence 11.4
Experience 1
Physical Non-physical

Strength 44.0 Positioning 10.2 Vision 3.5
Speed 18.0 Tackling 8.2 Blocking 13.3
Agility 8.6 Carrying 6.6 Catching 7.4
Physical condition 95.0 % Kicking 7.8 Punting 6.6
Footwork 9.5 Passing 8.2
Teamwork 40.0

Player B:

Intelligence 23.7
Experience 0.5
Physical Non-physical
Strength 44.1 Positioning 9.5 Vision 6.2
Speed 27.5 Tackling 5.3 Blocking 12.7
Agility 7.2 Carrying 6.5 Catching 8.6
Physical condition 99.0 % Kicking 8.6 Punting 8.2
Footwork 8.9 Passing 6.4
Teamwork 31.0

What do you think about it?

The difference is often due to experience (or lack of experience).

edit ...now I've seen the full picture, more difficult ....vision, maybe ?

I'd be guessing intelligence. Check your stats and see which one is doing a better blocking job. The difference between the two mightn't be that much.

This might be true. With low changable skills, intelligence has a higher weight in the rating calculation.

There was one example in the past, when a player switched between 1.5 and 2 stars rating and it was beacause of PC. So sometimes they are just on the edge...

lol ... I've got one who went from 2 to 2.5 then back to 2 and he's now just back to 2.5. His PC never tends to go below 95 and when he dropped from 2.5 to 2 I'm sure the PC was 100%.

I'm not imagining it either because I've got some snapshots of it in RZAMS.

a) physical condidition can make difference

b) experience imo does not have influence on shown rating, only on the real play possibility of player on field

Experience does affect shown rating ....

Manual - Player rating
"The player rating is another tool to help you organize your roster. Each rating is a consideration of how the player would perform at a given position. A rating is calculated as an average value of the important skills on a per position basis, with experience added to better reflect their actual performance. The best possible rating is 5*."

Lets say, there is a guy with the following skills needed

Punting
Agility
Intelligence
PC

while Pun is rated double important than the others (to keep the explanation easy

((pun + pun + agi)/3) * pc-factor * INT-factor * EXP-factor

it is not that plain, but the rating is working quite this way...
