Well you run the risk of spending money you don't want to just because....seems kind of silly really. I mean we have people on here moaning and complaining about the outrageous TM prices. Then we have people artificially driving prices up for the hell of it? Seems a bit stupid to do really.

Well the tm has gotten to the point where you have to massively overbid to get a good player

Someone spent 80 million on a YA project, so why are you surprised by this?

Easy to avoid. Don't buy on the TM or give yourself a limit, and never go over it.

I sold 3 Players for around 120 Mio so i thought about spending it on a guy 20 years old so i got a year extra in YA so i went for him.

Why driving up the prices? Cause if you are bidding against some guys (i won´t mentoning any names) you almost could be sure that the guy would always overbit you just to make sure you won´t get him
Sometimes it´s just for the fun, and sometimes it´s because at the beginning of bidding everybody knows the guy will gor for 40+ mio and so i start bringing up the price to see if there is a reason to log in and try to get him or if the price wents so high i could focus on other "login times".

It's all relative...

Is 100m a lot of money when a full stadium can bring in 8m a game? Is it a lot of money when a new team with minimal costs can make over 150m profit in a season once their stadium is maximised?

Yes & yes imo.

150.000.000 is always alot of money reguardless of how you look at it.

Well in about 4 seasons that will be relatively a HUGE chunk of change to put on the TM...

I spent 105mill on a CB a little back.
But I needed the help.
Also a few rivals were looking at him and that made me a little more hungry.
But again he was a free agent and I would prefer to loose the money to the system than to a rival.

Exactly...

Like I said, it's all relative.

When we have big wage bills it will seem like a lot more than it does now!

126 Mio$ for a strong, blocking player. For sure he will be an OL, but is the impact of an OL so high to pay so much money?

A WR, RB, QB can score a lot points and have a direct impact.

A LB, CB can make pick-6's and DL can Recover Fumbles. Also direct impacts.

One OL can prevent sacks and help your RB, but they have only an indirekt impact. They are also no individualists and work only fine with 4 other good guys. How want to build a OL for 500 mio. $?
