I've got a Youth that at 17 has uncapped speed of 40, teamwork of 43, 4 star talent, and the Slippery trait. Sounds like a superstar in the making, right? Yeah, his Intelligence is 2.3!
With that speed and the Slippery trait, I was thinking RB or DL for sure. Or if his Strength caps low, then WR. But that almost non-existing Intelligence really has me wondering what to do with him. I admit, I may overvalue Intelligence. I won't even look at a player on the TM that is under 30. I don't think Pete has ever given us a direct answer about what exactly Intelligence effects in each position, only that QB & MLB need to be high. And looking at the average Intelligence of the draftees in my league for the past 2 seasons RB is 40 & 42, WR is 38 & 41, and DL is 38 & 42. So, two questions for everyone: 1) Where would you play the player I described? 2) What value do you place on Intelligence? Are there other positions that you require higher Intelligence than just QB & MLB? |

OK, so quick question. When a RB is running the ball, what attribute does he use to choose which hole to hit or when to cutback? Intelligence, Vision, or Carrying? |

The question was how important INT is to determine a position. And my answer was he was overrating INT in my opinion. But is this an official statement? I don't believe so...just another bullshit...
