I feel you are too modest.

I've got you just ahead of the Ravens, Cats and Dandies. Though watch out for them Broncos, turn a blind eye and you'll come a cropper methinks........

Provided I can set it up correctly, this is how it will work:

1)I'm going to ask everyone to reply with who they think the Top four are (and you can't vote for yourself), and those with the highest total will go in separate groups.
2)Then I'm going to s e l e c t teams as close as possible in Percentage/ranking points so that there are 3 very closely ranked teams in each group.

This should make every single game important, and every team (including the Rookies) having a chance to make it to the knockout stage.

In an absoultely perfect world I would also hope to:
a) seperate teams who are in the same League
b)put myself in the same group as Chatral, as he VERY gamely sported a Jonny Wilkinson Avatar after his loss in our match in the inaugaral cup - and so he definitely deserves a chance of revenge (and he would be HOT favourite in our match-up)

But the main thing is, that I would hope that everyone feels that they have at least a shot at progressing to knockout.

But this is not a deadly serious cup, we're here to have some fun.

And as it looks like we may have to drop a team through lack of credits, we are particularly looking for a couple of rookie teams to join-up, with the assurance that a team of any level won't be just making up the numbers, but will have a realistic chance at progressing to the knock-out phase!!

If you wan't some fun and Sunday night pep-up before heading back to work, there's just 2 or 3 places left........

Any progress getting new teams? Maybe ask some of the brand new ones?

I've sent out some invitations, with a couple of Rookies thinking about it which would be fantastic.

I'm also hopeful that the Holmewood Hawks who were so good in the last cup will return - but I think DG must be on holiday, I missed him by just a couple of days on the original notice posting.

But as Ryandinho says, we'd really like some new players to join - the groups will be as evenly matched as we can make it, so it REALLY won't be a case of making up the numbers - EVERY team SHOULD have a chance of making it to the knockout stage, so please DON'T BE SHY, come and join the fun!!

If it was using the All-new shiny shiny Passing Engine then I'd definitely consider joining ... I just luvvvvvvvvv to see the ball sailing through the air for 90+ yards .... especially if my QB has just thrown it

I'd have to write a playbook , use some relevant formations and formulate some tactics. All that stuff is well beyond me I'm afraid.
