Would there be enough interest to run a Southern Hemisphere only competition?

We can't have those Northern folk taking all the glory!

With only a few teams in Australia, The Thunder Down Under Cup is a few seasons off at the moment, but bragging rights over the southern half of the world would surely be enough to tempt people to join in.

I suspect that it'll be a 8 team tournament, but wanted to get a feeler here on the forums before setting it up.
