Ok good guide but what about experience?
Full YA gives experience boost but how much?
I've got some good ex-youth players that have progressed to my senior squad but with very low exp and they're not as good as my starters so less game time means they will gain exp very very slowly.
If a 16 yr old joins a full YA at start of a season with 0.5 exp how much exp (on avg/in general) will he have at 20 when he bumps up at end of that final season?

we wont know as it hasnt been here long enough for anyone to come up with any stats

Hi, nice guide!

I get a good young player with 5 stars talent, so I choose to improve him.

I put 15 extra-point twice on "positionning". It didn't improve yet. It was at 4,7 and it's still at 4,7.

I don't understand how the extra-points work. I don't see any improvment on the players..

How I proceed :

I go to the training center. There, I 'pick up' a player and the caracteristic I want to improve and the number of point, Then I click on "execute".

You assign the extra training points in the Youth Academy and not the training center. Your 15 training points should give an increase in the chosen skill of 0.015, so you should see an improvement, when done correctly.

If you have a level 1 scout you might not be able to see an improvement because the reports won't be accurate

OK, thanks a lot. I'll be more patient. And my scout is very bad.

One of the first things I tell any new player is to invest in a level 20 scout.
Drafting well is of paramount importance especially to a new team and the difference between an accurate scouting report and an inaccurate one could be devastating early on for your team.

Maybe this is posted somewhere and I missed it, but in my YA the PC of my youths are all really low. Does this affect how fast they train? Should I get their PC up first then do physical and non physical skills?

I don't bother with their PC. It doesn't affect the training speed afaik. So I work on finding physical caps then train their skills with 10% on PC. They usually get promoted with ~70% PC, similar to draft picks. And if they have high TW they get a PC boost over the off season.

Same here - finding physical caps is the 1st priority. Or at least 1 of the caps anyway, if strength reaches 50 I often don't bother with speed, he's a lineman!

(strength and/or speed are priority in the YA for EVERY player, no exceptions, no excuses - if he caps at under 36 strength he is NOT a lineman, no matter how much blocking skill you give him, or whether he has a nice trait)
