It would be nice to have. In match settings there would be an option: 2 pt conversion (only in situations when lead by 1 pt or trail by 2, 5, 10, 12, 13, 18 pts). Only rush (all directions) or pass (all directions) from 2 yd line.

I know what you mean I have only scored 61 points in 5 games this season. I have conceded 81 in those games (62 in the last 2 games) but to be fair those last two were against the teams who contested last seasons bowl

Sorry that I bring this thread up again. I had a game today, where I would have really loved to try a 2-pt conversion.

Would it be possible to make the PAT a play in the playbook?
Just add PAT at "on down". Than you can choose to call a normal play and the ball will be placed at the 2 yard line (2 points) or choose a FG and the ball will be placed at the 15 yard line (1 point).

I agree, I even feel that this is especially important now that the number of missed extra point has been increased. I know I'd be pretty upset if I was down by 8 points late in the game, scored a TD and ended up losing by 1pt.

I get it... this is already on the to-do list. But it's apparently been there for years, and the TPC would be really nice to have, as well as the onside kick, punt and FG fakes and blocked kicks. I'm guessing it's difficult to add this to the programming which is why it hasn't been done? But special teams plays are often important and potentially game-changing IRL, and in RZA they're pretty bland still.

For the TPC, it doesn't seem too hard to add that option to the playbook; the bigger change is that then you need to have more specific options for picking the point difference for when to attempt the TPC. For example, it would be often chosen when behind by 2 points, but not 3, or ahead by 5, so you can try to get the lead to 7 instead of 6.

For the onside kick, it could be as simple as putting in a percentage success rate. A quick google search shows lifetime history recovery rate of 11.6%, though current rate is lower, at 6% in the pros. Or it could be more complicated in terms of allowing teams to choose whether to include a formation with lots of good catchers, or good blockers, etc.

I don't understand why there aren't any blocked/tipped field goals and punts. If the DL gets a good enough push, they should be allowed at least a chance of getting a block. Of course, to counter this, there could be fake kicks (already on the to-do list) which would make going for a block riskier. I know this means needing more formations work done as well as playbook options, but at the very least a chance to block kicks should be a part of the game, imo.

(I also understand however, that this is all part of the idea that the playbook should be a bigger part of the game than the minimal role it currently plays, when in actuality this is a game of player training and financial management. But still, the playbook is fun to mess with!)
