Now for the National Conference

NC EAST

Manchester Red Devils are managed by red devil
Sabercats Sopot are managed by Arkowiec87
Slavia Pankrac are managed by MIREK 70
Wild Thangs are managed by stizz

Pankrac will not face stiff enough opposition to stop their dominance of this division, but if MIREK 70 wants to win that elusive Super Bowl he will have to find the right tactics to beat notsch and the Athletics or pray someone else beats them earlier in the play offs. Thangs are looking for more consistency this and whether they get it depends on the way they play against teams of the same level or lower. As to the Red Devils, they need a break to improve their record, but I cannot see it happening this season. The Sabercats, as wiesengrund has already said, will find out if their power running game can continue to perform at this level or will Arkowiec87 have a trick up his sleeve and find a passing game to compliment the run.

Position Prediction
1st Pankrac
2nd Thangs
3rd Sabercats
4th Red Devils

Now

NC NORTH

Bavarian Bratwursts are managed by Ultrasofa
China Chimp are managed by Tashpereira777
Quarry Bay Raidrs are managed by Mark_C666
Steelers are managed by jrm527

The Steelers will be looking to consolidate their good first season, but whether they can cause enough upsets to pinch a divisional title, not this season. Chimp will be looking to maintain a winning record, as they have done in all three previous seasons in this division, and also trying to get the divisional title they won three seasons ago. Bratwursts, likewis, will feel they have a chance of another divisional title and will obviously try their hardest to get it back. The Raiders know they will have a hard fight to retain the divisional title, which also will be the only clear run to the play offs. This is another division where anyone of them can win it.

Position Prediction
1st Raiders
2nd Chimp
3rd Bratwursts
4th Steelers

and to your truly's division

NC SOUTH

Guisborough Priors are managed by Bovakian
Packers are managed by Farmer
South Georgia Red Beavers are managed by Osceola
Styrian Bears are managed by Buddy Ryan

The Bears , magnifico, charged into their first season all guns blazing and will look to retain the divisional title they won convincingly last season and maybe even think of Super Bowl chance. The Red Beavers wre another tema in this league that consolidted their position last season and will now be looking to push on to challenge for the divisional title. As to the Priors, after a disastrous end to the season they will be looking to climb back up and fight for the divisional title their relinquished last season. The Packers made a decent start in the first season in the division and will be looking to improve their record this time around.

Position Prediction
1st Bears
2nd Priors
3rd Red beavers
4th Packers

and finally

NC WEST

Green Bay Packers are managed by barbados1
Lucentum Peguins are managed by chabi
SimKonville Fraggles are managed by SimKon
Tauton Demons are managed by Relur Katzoco

The Demons have struggled to make headway in this division and , unfortunately, it will be much the same this season. GBP are the perennial runners up in this division and may find it a lot more difficult to maintain that position this time around. Fraggles join this division with a convincing record from level 2 and should convert that form quite well in this division, but it will probably not stop the Penguins dominance of the division this season. The Penguins will be looking to their big defense to keep the divisional title, but be wary if he finds an offense to go with it. chabi will also be looking for a way to change his luck in the play offs so he cn get to a Super Bowl again.

Position Predictions
1st Penguins
2nd Fraggles
3rd GBP
4th Demons

In closing a brief look at the whole league.

On the whole the margin between most of the new guys and the old guys is getting closer, which hopefully will make my match predictions a whole lot harder, however I still cannot see beyond another Pankrac and Athletics Super Bowl unless there is wholesale slaughter in their teams.
As to the play offs, well besides the two I have already mentioned, the Penguins, Falcons, Raiders and Bears are most likely to join them, but the other spots are fairly wide open.
With those who will not remain with us at the end of the season with the exception of Guebw Dolphins that is going to be a tight call. For cedalsac I am sorry to say that you are in for long hard season, but I hope you will take it all in and prove me wrong, by showing an extremely under strength team can make a go of it at this level.

So this closes my look at the divisions and I will now sit back and rest so I can start to appraise the upcoming matches to give honest predictions as each matchday comes along.

Cheers

Bova

Bye bye to the only trophy I've been winning this past seasons

Edit. Btw, Bova, amazing review, really. The day you get tired of writting, this forum will die, seriously! Awesome work mate!!

Not so confident myself about my chances this season, anyhow. As always, the Draft will be very important for my team, let's see how it goes tomorrow

Wow, I've frightened 2 off already!

Guebw Dolphins & San Diego State Aztecs - - - - - - -> gone

Just finished setting up for the Aztecs game and then when I went to do the last part (game settings), saw they had gone bot. Then had to go and undo everything!

Was really looking forward to this rematch - they were the 2nd team I ever played (even if I never even setup for that match )

Looks like we need a botflush phase 2 !

Well this really show how difficult it is to predict using a limited spread.

I got ONE right. Though 7 others won but not by my spread.

Very interesting round. Slavia again struggling against the Wild Thangs, are they their cryptonite?

My guys had an exhausting OT battle with no TDs and no turnovers. Physically a deadlock for most of the time, but Lucentum proved to have better stamina (and an actual playbook for OT, as opposed to me )
