After recovering from my post draft meltdown I am now ready to do a write up for each division.
First up is the AC East... Troubling news on the front, Malakas is apparently going bot since he hasn't logged on since April 2nd. Is this Steely's division to lose now? (11-5 last season) Steely returns with a solid defense and added to it with 2 lb's in the draft who are solid draft players. He also picked up a te. Looks like a recipe for a division title. (9-7 last season) Zaragoza returns with a solid rush offense and pass defense. He drafted 2 stud d line guys that will help his rush defense when playing against steely. He also picked up a wr to help the passing game. Zaragoza reversed the norm by struggling in the beginning and finishing strong. Perhaps this is the season he puts both halves together? Here is a stat in his favor. His last 4 games vs Steely he is 2-2, his last 4 against soon to be bot Malakas? 0-4. Turn 2 losses to wins and go 10-5? Looks like a playoff spot and maybe more? (2.2 Conf. Champ last season) Nebraska is back after a short break down in the minors and is ready to compete. Not sure what to expect and how much he has improved. I do know he was improving each season when in 1.1 before. Malakas to be bot? |

Either on the daily u p d a t e on the 23rd or on the 24th.
Steely pointed out in the other thread that Nebraska is probably quitting, he's logging in still, but his team is a mess. He's got one LB, one TE and got 2 CBs in the draft or he would've had 3 of those. |

That division went from being a tough division season to season to just an average division overnight.

Next up...AC North...
(11-5 last season) Fajny...what can I say except you don't know what you are going to get from game to game. What do I mean? Vs his main competition in division he beat Duran Duran 31-21 while allowing 330 yards. 3 games later Duran Duran beats Fanjy 30-21 and gains 471 yards. Consequently, Duran Duran did outgain Fanjy in almost every stat except turnovers in their loss by a margin of 4. Fanjy did draft a pair of top flight corners and a solid rb in the draft. So he added a strength to a strength as he had the #8 rush offense and #9 pass defense last season. (10-5 last season) Duran Duran finished 1 game and about 30 points behind Fanjy last season. DD drafted a solid cb, solid lb, and a pretty darn good dl. This season this division is playing the AC east so it could have 2 bots in it. Based on the draft, team types, records vs each other last season including stats....I think Duran Duran might be a slight favorite to win the division this season. (7-9 last season) Madrid has fallen on hard times going on 3 seasons now. I am impressed with his draft though. He got 2 great o line players and a very good qb. Perhaps this is the building blocks for him to move forward and regain the Madrid pride? I am picking them to finish above .500. (2.1 Last season) Dundalk, the guy who likes to talk. lol. It is going to be a tough season for wins but as long as he approaches this season as a chance to try out new playbooks and learn he will be ok for the future. |
