to be honest, when you take a look at my offense stats (no 3rd conv.!), it is a shame you did not wind aah win. 
@niner i can understand your frustration. you probably get one of the best teams in RZA, when looking at your players. and your record doesn´t show this in comparsion to other teams (right english???). i don´t want complain about my team´s performance, but when i take a look at some games (win/ loose), i don´t understand how this things is working at all...?!?  |

I try to be ballanced and unpredictable in playcalling, hence my offensive playbooks tend to be quite large and takes a lot of parameters in to account (well over 200 rules, quite a pain to edit!). I find that using multiple formations and mixing it up works best. Did a brand new more run focused playbook for yesterday.
On defense the most important thing is to have a number of defensive linemen which match the offensive formation. I also tweak the formations depending on if i believe my opponent is most likely to pass or run, ie if I think its a passing down I of cause set my starting formation to pass but if the opponent line up in 4WR and i line up in Dime it doesnt make sense to transition in to 5-2 in case of a run, is my single linebacker from Dime then would be on the defensive line and either one of my corners or safeties would be playing linebacker. I try to pick a formation it make sense to play with the same personnel. Sorry this post ended up being a lot longer than expected hehe |

To bad most teams in our league don't go same as you, it would be much harder to win and much more fun. |

There are many factors that influence the development of every play I wonder if it is better to establish a standard tactic (base playbook) and play with players well trained ... Is it absolutely necessary to have a PB with over 200 plays to succeed in the game? Does the effort outweighs the results obtained? That's my major doubt ...  |
