Got 8 points to give to players in the youth academy, the skill that i wantet to increase only did so by 0.1

is 8 points only worth so little? or is it better to stack up some and then use it?

Another question that i just thought about is playing a player on maybe both offense and defense, is there any penalty for playing on both positions or its just % lost in PC/play?

As far as I know, you can't stack up the points. They reset with every Youth Pull. But you'll get more points with a higher level of your youth academy and better coaches. So when you'll have 75 points or something per week in the future, you'll be able to increase one ability by 0,75 points a week.

Sisko is right. And you got only 0.08 skill level, 8 training points, because your YA is low level as your staff is.
