I have a doubt with some Player Traits, those which give a certain percentage of increasing "something" instead of increasing one ability in particular (for instance, Speed). I don't know if I'm making my point, so I think the better way to explain myself will be with an example...
Let's choose "Sure Tackler It doesn't matter how you stop him, as long as you stop him. This Ability gives a 5% chance to tackle the ball carrier" (from the Manual). I understand with a 5% chance that my Sure Tackler player will tackle the ball carrier a 5% occasions more than he would have tackled him without the trait, is it correct? I mean, having two identical players against two identical ball carriers in 100 identical engine situations, the player with the trait will tackle the ball carrier five times more than the player without it, right? Anybody understand what I'm trying to say?  |

I think I understood, but this is not completely right.
Tackling gets a 5% bonus in this case. If the tackler makes it or not is depending on many things, and of course depending on his opponent. So you can't do simple math to get a result. |

Fine. Then every Player Trait increases an ability a certain percentage? I mean, that crazy thing (
 ) I've just wrote is valid for any trait?
For example with this one... "Stone Wall This player is simply hard to move. Stone wall gives a 5% bonus to being beaten by the D-Line, but it lowers the players speed by 5%" (from the Manual). In that case, this trait increases the Blocking of the player and decreases his Speed, right? |

Blocking is only the theory...there is some more you need to make a block. |

Right, I think I fully understand now!
The Trait increases 5% every skill which, keeping with the last example, helps a player to block a ball carrier. Is that it?  |

If i have a player with " long reach" as his special ability trait, will he be good as a QB, if his arm is longer he has more leaverage, or is it just for catching...
