The Red Zone Action scene welcomes a new name. The Žižkov Hippos have officially announced the founding of a new club, aiming to build a strong, modern organization with a clear long-term vision.
The role of general manager has been taken on by Mr. Pumpkin, a well-known and experienced figure in domestic American football. In the past, he spent several seasons with the Motol Ducks, where he was part of a period marked by consistent competitiveness, multiple trophy successes, and regular participation at the top level of the League Admirals.
"I’m incredibly happy to be back," said Mr. Pumpkin during the club’s launch. "American football has always been close to my heart, and the opportunity to build something completely new is hugely motivating. Žižkov Hippos are a blank canvas with enormous potential. I’m looking forward to assembling a strong organization, developing players, and taking this club step by step on a journey to the top."
During the founding press conference, the club also presented its official logo and game jerseys for the first time. The visual identity is built around the club’s colors purple and gold, symbolizing ambition, creativity, and confidence.️
