Since I started this betting game I have looked at all the teams in the top divisions and while Fire is by no means the worst league for this there is a massive difference in some leagues between the genuine powerhouses and the newly promoted / weaker sides in the league. This in turn makes the leagues easier to predict thus boring. The supercup is usually a jog until the knockout phases when it becomes interesting unless you get unlucky and have a tough group. I think you have overlooked three or four sides in your league though. While at the moment they aren't quite strong enough to challenge the old guard a few shrewd signings, draft picks and a bit of luck in the YA they could seriously come to challenge the traditional powerhouses. Although no offense aimed at kingofthehill here so please take this the right way but didn't you tank a few seasons ago to move away from a powerhouse? Surely having another powerhouse for a divisional rival would have made things more interesting for you. Do you not agree? |

In 2 of my 3 losses I tried new playbooks that blew up in my face. I'm sure others have the same issues. That is what makes your predictions creepily close. You aren't going straight on ratings either. Doesn't appear so anyway.

As for playbooks I won't go into detail but some of the old guard around the leagues have become a victim of their own success and they believe that just because they have the better side they have the divine right to win. I got to the last 8 of the SC a couple of seasons ago and the Admirals Conference Championship last season on the back of that statement. Sure the wheels have looked like they are coming off this season but that is just one of those things.
Just because a team is better in the ratings does not mean that they just have to turn up to win the game. And if you believe that then your arrogance is what is holding a team back not the "lack" of development in the game. Sure freak incidents happen, they happen in all sports live with it and roll with the punches isn't that what makes sport great? |

I know when I lose it is usually because I didn't prepare. I don't really scout, gameplan, and make any adjustments whatsoever to my playbook. When others do gameplan me like the Underacheiving Steamrollers they beat me.

My reasons for that was that it was me and magpies (and he was in my eyes the strongest in our league) in the same group, and the one that did win between us already in the league was to be the Conference champ. So instead of having it decided in the regular season, its now decided in the playoff. Other reason was that in the NE(NC?) other conferense there was more competition, so by tanking, you could get some good draftpicks aswell hoping in getting into the other conference, but i dident  |

Hey guys, if you haven't noticed yet I am trying to collect some advanced QB metric stats to see the correlation between them and winning in RZA. It's very simple to do and takes no time. So it would be neat if you could plug in your QB stats in there. Ideally would be with the end of regular season stats if you can u p d a t e it by then awesome. But you are welcome to plug them in the sheet at any time to check how your QB is doing, more than one QB can be put there as well. No restrains.
