A big early season clash from the AC North needed overtime to find a winner. The 2 teams needed points difference to separate them last season, had TV audiences on the edge of their seats, which the Templers home fans went home celebrating the 19-13 victory.
Postgame, a disappointed Warsteiners head coach spoke to the gathered press "Obviously it's disappointing to go home without the points, but it's a marathon not a sprint, we did a lot of things right so will fight all the way. Credit to the Templers for getting the result in a great game for neutrals, but we will regroup and come back stronger. That said it wont get any easier next week with another road trip to SanFran 49" |

The league started with four BOT teams.
Meanwhile, we have twelve. Sad.

The English Threat
This season, the Nuremberg Fallen Templars want again and at least the AC North Division Cup. For this, the first rule ist to keep away the team of General Manager Ahards, the English Egerton Warsteiners. Exactly these Egerton Warsteiners had today a dramatic match against one of the best teams in the league, the Green Panthers from Austria under the leadership of General Manager nauticus. The game won by the Green Panthers close 24:21. The Egerton Warsteiner had several chances to win but then bad luck. General Manager Templar's Nuremberg Fallen Templars are on watch now. The Egerton Warsteiners continues to be a serious competitor to the AC North Division. The Brits may rule Britannia - the Nuremberg Fallen Templars will rule die AC North this season! We were given a tough early schedule, the AC North went all the way to the final game last season and still a long way to go this year 
We somehow hung in there today against a great team and almost pulled off the shock but the quality team showed their class to ensure victory  hopefully we'll keep the fans coming back next week  |
