Nominate Hippos, especially when you look at their record and strength of division.

Few surprises this week - the top 10 all continuing their march...
#1 (up 1) Lucea Cardinals (7-0) - Regain #1 spot after a solid and effective demolition of Raiders Tirol. #2 (down 1) Leeds Celtics (6-0) - harsh to relegate myself after a bye week but that's life. #3 (up 1) Solihull Moors (7-0) - THAT's how you crush weaker opposition, really beginning to click now. #4 (down 1) Huddersfield Hippos (6-0) - Another harsh relegation of a spot after a bye week. #5 (up 1) Monster Piskots (6-1) The Tyrolean Twixes had begun to find their feet in 1.1, the Piskots swept them from underneath them and sent them crashing in the most effective manner possible. #6 (up 2) Devon Warriors (6-1) - rebounded from previous defeat. RGIII are better than their record suggests, and Devon gave them no chance. #7 (up 1) Naprzód Marsz! (5-2) - despite throwing 3 interceptions, Naprzod were another to easily beat lower ranked opposition. #8 (down 3) GCB (7-0) - They keep winning, but there are chinks in the armour, as they made very heavy weather of struggling Hameln Rats. #9 (=) Venice Panthers (4-3) - a morale boosting performance against a resilient vipers outfit, Venice need more of this if they are to mount a challenge on the playoffs. #10 (=) Firenze Fappers (4-2) - the same goes for the Fappers, it wasn't pretty against the Raccoons, but it was just what the resurgent Fappers needed. |

I was really pleased with the result, taking into account sacks and picks, they averaged ~2.8 yards everytime they dropped back to pass. I was really happy with 3rd down efficiency as well (0-12 v 16-19). Of course tougher tests will come - no offense to Rheinberg - but its always nice to see such a commanding performance. Going to be a hard week for my guys now... K-Town, Devon and Hippos. |
