An interesting gameday, some surprises, and some big games..... and a new #1

#1 (up 2) Solihull Moors (8-0) - impressive numbers once again, this time against top drawer opposition. There can be few teams in RZA who would relish facing Solihull right now

#2 (down 1) Lucea Cardinals (8-0) - the swiss had been making noises recently about their impressive 1st season in 1.1, the only noises heard today were swiss bodies hitting turf.

#3 (down 1) Leeds Celtics (7-0) - outplayed by the Piskots for periods today, the Celtics however converted their chances and remain unbeaten.

#4 (=) Huddersfield Hippos (7-0) - A big 4th quarter from the Hippos made the scoreline tie in with the yardage - impressive dispatching of potential banana skin opposition

#5 (=) Monster Piskots (6-2) Will be ruing missed opportunities to shoot down big guns today, 2 Interceptions, lost by 2 scores, but there were long periods when they looked irresistable.

#6 (=) Devon Warriors (6-2) - serious wobble today, totally out-muscled, but few can cope with the Moors so difficult to criticise Devon for that!

#7 (=) Naprzód Marsz! (5-2) - bye

#8 (=) GCB (7-0) - bye.

#9 (=) Venice Panthers (5-3) - Settling down now after their horror schedule of the 1st few weeks.

#10 (up 3) Carinthian Cowboys (5-2) - back into the top 10 for the big passing Cowboys, who look on course for a wildcard spot if they can continue to post in the W column whenever the opportunity knocks.

Nice rankings again Jonny. Can't argue with them!

Got a very interesting match up against the Moors next - haven't beaten them in 3 attempts and really don't fancy my chances to be honest this time either. They are on absolute fire!

No1, Woohoo!

I was really nervous going into todays game. But another solid performance. My PB was a little lopsided, I thought I had the balance right going into today but I'll have to change a few lines...

Before this week I didn't know what to expect but having won 2/3 games so far I'll be happy no matter what happens on Sat. Good luck though Hippos, our games are always super close! Hopefully my form will give me the edge though...

Good shout on Cowboys as well, the 2 games they lost were against me and NM! so they're beating the teams they need to. Playoffs beckon. Fappers have been a surprise this year so far

Just seen Monster Piskots down to 90% PC, did they MOTY me, does anyone know?

No idea. They didn't have a difficult SC game so doubt they used it then. And haven't bought any new players that would bring it down... It does look like it, and if they did I'd move you up in the rankings.

edit: Looking at it Devon are on 91%, did I get moty'd again? I'm 100% sure on the SC game because I checked before the game. Didn't look today...

at least i got a mention in the power rankings...

its time we pick ourselves back up and go again, an easy win followed by a trip to Solihull Moors well at least 5-5 beckons.

You had been knocking around 15th on my list.. in fact you still are, nobody drops too far after a hammering from the Cardinals - they do that to most people.

#1 (up 3) Huddersfield Hippos (8-0) - Nobody can have any doubt about the pedigree of the Hippos now

#2 (=) Lucea Cardinals (8-0) - bye.

#3 (down 2) Solihull Moors (8-1) - just a blip, or a real problem with turnovers which they had previous got away with?

#4 (down 1) Leeds Celtics (7-1) - Sources say the Celtics coach missed the team bus and was not able to be involved - whatever the excuses, it was a poor performance.

#5 (=) Monster Piskots (6-2) bye

#6 (=) Devon Warriors (6-2) - bye

#7 (up 1 ) Gotham City Bats (8-0) - made very short work of lowly opposition

#8 (down 1) Naprzod Marsz (6-2) - yes, the scoreline showed it was comfortable enough, but the performance onfield could and should have been a little more convincing

#9 (up 1) Carinthian Cowboys (6-2) - quietly and effectively doing the business, and a very good win against opposition who had already claimed a few scalps this season

#10 (down 1) Venice Panthers (6-3) - Made to work very hard by spluttering Paradise, either Paradise have improved, or Venice still need to find their mojo
